TOOLBOX TRAINING

The Toolbox training courses have been developed by BTBAB using the lessons learnt from taking teams away each year. Every team member must go through the Toolbox training course which is usually delivered over 2 to 3 weekends.  These mandatory training dates are available to team members at the time they apply for the team.  Through these training weekends team members learn more about themselves and others through our specially developed team building activities.

Since our relocation to Liverpool in the summer of 2022 we will now be holding all our training in the Merseyside region in the northwest of England.

Each team member participates in the Toolbox training course which aims to prepare teams to go on short term mission. Our tag line, “preparing ordinary people to do extraordinary things in God” really does sum up the experience our team members have.

The course consists of 3 modules with approximately 8 sessions, typically delivered over 2 weekends, although this can be adapted to suit the needs of the team. We can also deliver this training for other church groups who want to prepare their own teams for overseas short term mission. If this is of interest please get in touch (toolbox@btbab.org).
